World Wide Knit in Public Day
Did you know that June 10 is this year's Worldwide Knit in Public Day? You can go to http://www.wwkipday.com/ and read about it. Do you think it's too late to organize something impromptu in our area? Might be kind of fun. Since we all probably do this anyway!

Re: World Wide Knit in Public Day
Knitting in Public Day... :-) I'll be knitting at my son's basketball game at Stonehurst park in the morning, but could meet for MORE knitting in public. Are some knitters shy (????) about their knitting...

Re: World Wide Knit in Public Day
I'd love to go to a shady park nearby and knit on Saturday. What about Verdugo Park, or Descanso Gardens. Where's your favorite knitting spot?

Re: World Wide Knit in Public Day
Didn't anyone think of anywhere to go tomorrow, preferably with a playground? I'll go to any park in the Burbank/Glendale area where my kids will leave me alone. Verdugo park here in Burbank is nice, or McCambridge Park. There is something going on in L.A., I think, but I'd rather stay close to home. Anyone?

Re: World Wide Knit in Public Day
I don't even know what day of the week it is today, let alone the date. Is it the 8th? 9th? Oh, I'm pathetic. I'm assuming KIP day is on Saturday... I won't be able to make it out there to you guys, but I think we'll have a picnic in the park, and maybe Richard can watch the kidlets long enough for me to get a stitch or two in.
Have fun knitting, wherever you are!
