The Nipple Project
Hello Everyone,
I seem to find the strangest things. I find them to be pretty intriguing & funny... Anyway if anyone wants to knit nipples "The Nipple Project" is taking submissions. They will be creating a large wall hanging which will be displayed in October 2006, to coincide with National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I think the exhibit will be at the Orange County Museum of Art.
Here is the website, they include a FREE pattern. DEADLINE is JULY 31st, 2006

Some of us take them for granted until we lose one or both of them. I know, I'm a breast cancer survivor. One breast and never being able to wear a Victoria Secret bra was the price I paid for my life. Not bad! Ladies, remember to self check your breasts every month and your mammograms.
