Free Patterns
When Diane showed us the adorable teddy bear she knit from a free Berroco pattern, I went immediately to the website. Berroco has a number of FREE teddy bear patterns. Check the site out at www.berroco.com. All are adorable! I want to make one (after I finish a few of my UFO's!) for donation to The Center For Grief and Loss For Children.

Re: Free Patterns
Thanks for the tip about the free patterns. I think I might print one & save it for the day I can actually read & comprehend a pattern. (haha)

Re: Free Patterns
There are some new (free)patterns on the Afghans for Afghans site. The vest pattern is a knit or crochet version. http://www.afghansforafghans.org/vestforafghanchildren.html
The home page is http://www.afghansforafghans.org/blanket.html Some well know designers, who support this charity, publish free patterns that are fun to make.

Re: Free Patterns
Here is a great pattern from Elann. It is a pinwheel sweater sized for woman and children. It looks fun, basically a circle with sleeves.

Re: Free Patterns
EVERYBODY should check out the new issue of www.knitty.com. What a great issue (even IF they didn't love my turtle)! Lots of socks, some very cute hats, fingerless mitts with cables. SO cute.

Re: Free Patterns
I see that the Piggy in your pocket is available as a free pattern on the Judykits web site. However, I am not able to locate the free pattern; only the one which is $5. How do I get to the free piggy pattern? I am interested in making a felted pig which I saw in a yarn shop in Pomona.
Thanks.
