Baby Afghans from the Sample Afghans

You can use your favorite "square" from the Sampler Afghan book (our project book for this year) to make a 42" by 35" baby afghan.
You need about 125 stitches using #9 needles. So, for most patterns, just double the number of stitches. Add 10 more for the sides (5 garter stitches on each side). Start with 6 rows of garter stitch, and end with 6 rows of garter. In about 10 hours you will have a baby afghan. Enjoy!

Hi Analee:
What a great idea! I knew there were more things to do with the Sampler book and this is a neat one. Thanks
for all you contribute--
